At SCM, we believe in the future potential of music students
and seek to grow the local marimba community
by providing professional support to marimba students and artists.
WHY YOUR HELP IS IMPORTANT
As a young nonprofit organization, we rely entirely on voluntary efforts to make our competition, educational programs, and concerts happen.
We are young professionals working voluntarily outside our full-time jobs to meet, inspire, and support over 500 students and young artists through our programs for the past five years.
Since all of our events are free for students, we do not make any profits from them. That is why we need YOUR help to continue helping marimba students and young artists stride forward in their musical journey!
HOW YOU CAN HELP
SCM is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible. Every little help goes a long way to support our competition, educational programs, and concerts. We have a team of voluntary staff and do not profit from our events, so you can be assured that your donations are always used for the right cause.
Many employers will match your donations, therefore doubling or tripling your impact on SCM. Simply ask your employer about a matching gift program and fill out a matching gift form to maximize your impact.
